Motivation and Goal

Cloud Computing becomes more and more important. To get the full power of clouds, in the view of CH Open these clouds should be open according to the principles of the open cloud initiative.

The goal is to foster open clouds and the interoperability of clouds. Especially taking into account the requirements of public administrations and large as well as small and medium-sized businesses.

In this conference concrete stacks will be discussed. In the afternoon session, specific workshops will be held. The developments in Gov Clouds will also be discussed.

The conference builds on the success of the previous Open Cloud Days.

Possible Program

The event is planned as a full day event with a single or double track and 2-3 training session for specific cloud stacks (hands-on).

Call for Participation

We are looking for:

  1. Speeches and suggestions for speeches with the following information: Presenter, Title and Abstract until the 5th April 2017
  2. 2-3 groups/vendors around a cloud stack that would like to make a workshop (must be technical). Target - 20-30 participants.
  3. Sponsors: 7-9 * CHF 2'000
  4. As a Sponsor you get - naming in all publications, placing of a banner, a slot in the talks or a workshop, 2 free tickets, participation at the annual sponsoring dinner of CH Open. Existing CH Open sponsors get a discount.
