Open Journey Planner and the toolkit to build your own trip planner


About the talk:

The Federal Office of Transportation had an open trip planner built based on the OJP protocol. It allows to search all public transport in Switzerland and will be extended to other modes of transportation (https://opentransportdata.swiss/de/cookbook/open-journey-planner-ojp/). With the OJP Demonstrator a full application that controls the OJP interface and has and interface is provided as a template (https://opentdatach.github.io/ojp-demo-app/). The framework is available under the MIT license. The talk will explain the basics of of the OJP specification, the OJP solution and the demonstrator. It is of interest to people that would like to add trip planning to their apps and applications.
